Mexican Lives, Mexican Rituals is a series of photographs from the Mexican community throughout New York City on prayer, rituals, procesions and the rhythms of daily life. As daylight moves into darkness, I make soft images. This muteness is a traveling metaphor for the families who migrate to thoughts of places left behind and traditions celebrated in Mexico. |
